The Mobile Tanning Experience
Q: How does a mobile spray tan work?
A: It's simple and convenient! I arrive at your location with my professional equipment, including a pop-up, ventilated tent. We'll do a quick color consultation, you'll get undressed to your comfort level, and the spray tan itself takes only about 20 minutes. The entire process from setup to pack-up is seamless and designed for your comfort.
Q: Will the spray tan make a mess in my home?
A: Absolutely not. I bring a professional, floor-to-ceiling tanning tent that contains 100% of the overspray. It protects your floors, furniture, and privacy. I pack everything up when I'm done, leaving no trace behind—just you and your beautiful glow!
Q: How much space do you need?
A: Not much at all! I just need a roughly 4x4 foot area with good lighting and access to a standard power outlet. A living room, kitchen, or even a spacious bathroom works perfectly.
Q: What should I wear during the appointment?
A: Whatever makes you most comfortable! You can go nude to avoid all tan lines, or wear a dark-colored thong, bikini, or underwear. Men typically wear dark-colored shorts or boxers.
Preparing For Your Tan
Q: How should I prepare my skin for the best results?
A: Great results start with great prep! For a flawless, long-lasting tan, please shower, shave, and gently exfoliate your skin 12-24 hours before your appointment. It's important to arrive for your tan with clean skin, free of any products.
Q: Should I wear any lotion, makeup, or deodorant to my appointment?
A: No. Please arrive with your skin completely clean and free of any products. Lotions, oils, perfumes, and deodorants can create a barrier on the skin and may affect the tan's development.
After-Care & Tan Maintenance
Q: What should I wear right after my tan?
A: Dark, loose-fitting clothing is best. Think sweatpants, loose t-shirts, robes, or maxi dresses. Avoid wearing anything tight like jeans, leggings, socks, or restrictive bras immediately after your session.
Q: When can I shower?
A: We will discuss this at your appointment as it depends on the solution used. For a traditional tan, you will want to wait at least 8-12 hours before your first rinse. For a rapid tan, you can rinse in as little as 2-4 hours. Your first shower should be a warm water rinse only—no soaps or scrubbing!
Q: How long will my tan last?
A: With proper after-care, your custom spray tan will last between 7 to 10 days. The life of your tan depends on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you care for it.
Q: How can I make my tan last longer?
A: Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! Starting after your first shower, moisturize your entire body once or twice a day. Avoid long hot baths, chlorinated pools, and excessive scrubbing, as these can cause your tan to fade more quickly.

Q: What is your service area?
A: Bronze & Beauty proudly serves the greater Kansas City metropolitan area, with a primary service area covering Prairie Village, Leawood, Overland Park, and surrounding neighborhoods. Please inquire if you are outside this area, as a travel fee may apply.
Q: How do I book a group or tanning party?
A: We love tanning parties! For groups of 4 or more, please contact us directly by phone or email to coordinate the details and receive special group pricing.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We understand that life happens. We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee
